Community Guidelines

At xOne our goal is to establish a secure environment where hobbyists and professionals can harbour creativity, collaborate to create inspiring content and support fellow creators. When you use xOne, you become a part of a global user community fostering a common sense of making the best out of our 3D scanning tool. Our community guidelines help us achieve this better.
These policies apply to all the content on our platform, including 2D images, scanned models, file names and comments. If you see content that you think violates these guidelines, report it. By using our app, you agree to adhere to all the principles listed below.

1. Respect Intellectual Property

• Only scan and share objects that you have the right to capture.
• Do not upload or share scans of copyrighted items without permission. Give credit where credit is due, and respect the work of other creators.

2. Protect Privacy

• Do not scan or share scans of people without their explicit consent.
• Avoid capturing and sharing personal information or private spaces.

3. Maintain Quality & Authenticity

• Ensure your scans are clear and of high quality.
• Do not share distorted, inappropriate, or misleading content. Provide accurate descriptions and tags for your scans.

4. NSFW or Sexual Content

• xONE does not support the scanning and sharing of explicit, pornographic or inappropriate content.
• Sexualised content, even if the people are clothed or partially clothed, is not allowed and will be removed. However, nudity in paintings and sculptures and in science and historical contexts is permitted.

5. Engage Respectfully

• xONE is not a place for antagonistic, explicit, misleading, harmful, hateful, or violent content or behaviour. We want to create a humble community of users who practice kindness and respect the learning environment.
• Harassment, bullying, discriminatory slurs, and hate speech of any kind, irrespective of an individual’s beliefs, is not allowed. This applies to all comments and messages on individual and community pages.

6. No Spamming

• Do not engage in spamming behaviour such as repetitive posting or unsolicited promotions in comments sections.
• Keep all discussions relevant and meaningful.

What happens if my content violates this policy?

If your content violates this policy, we will remove the content and send you an email to let you know. If we can’t verify that a link you post is safe, we may remove the link. 
Alternatively, report any content or behaviour that violates these guidelines using our in-app reporting tools. Repeated violations of these guidelines may result in account suspension or permanent ban.
